Synopsis: Woven together by a letter written to the city of Baltimore by a young man named John Chalmers, the film profiles two students who participate in Next One Up, a nonprofit program which serves high-risk student-athletes in Baltimore City.

The film highlights Next One Up's programming and the incredible avenues of support and opportunity offered to their young men as they develop into Baltimore's future leaders.
